The Lansingburgh Central School District is pleased to announce that Mike Robbins has been appointed as the new Assistant Principal of Lansingburgh High School. Mr. Robbins has worked in Lansingburgh since early 2024 as the Athletic Director and he was appointed as Lansingburgh High School's Assistant Principal by the Board of Education at their meeting on Monday, November 24, 2025.

During the search for Mr. Robbins' replacement as Athletic Director, he will continue overseeing some aspects of Lansingburgh's Athletics Department to ensure the recently started winter athletics season continues smoothly.
"I’d like to thank the Board of Education, Dr. Abitabile [Superintendent of Schools], Mr. Van Dervoort [LHS Principal], and the entire interview committee for having faith in me to serve as the Assistant Principal of Lansingburgh High School. I’ve been able to build strong relationships with our school community since coming to Lansingburgh and believe I can continue to be a positive contributor to a talented and supportive team,” said Mr. Robbins.
“As the Athletic Director for the past two years, Mr. Robbins has a proven track record of successful leadership in Lansingburgh and we are excited to see his talents utilized as the Assistant Principal at Lansingburgh High School. His ability to work well with students, staff and families made him stand out during the interview process. His dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive environment has been evident in his work, and his leadership skills will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of the school community," said Lansingburgh Superintendent of Schools Dr. Antonio Abitabile.
