Good morning Rensselaer Park Elementary School Community,

I am writing to inform you that an interim principal has been selected and appointed. Dr. Joe Lopez will serve as interim principal until further notice at RPES and his first day of school will be Monday, November 25, 2024. The faculty and staff at RPES were informed earlier this week.

Dr. Lopez is a retired building leader spending most of his career in the Ballston Spa School District throughout various buildings.  He most recently finished an interim principal position for the Greenville Central School District last year and is eager to get started at RPES. Kindly welcome Dr. Lopez to our school community!
