LTA Scholarship Applications for 2024 Seniors Due May 29

Current Lansingburgh High School Seniors planning to attend a two-year or four-year college can apply for the annual Lansingburgh Teacher's Association Scholarship to receive a $2000 award paid over 4 semesters ($500 per semester).

Applications are due by 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Students will need to log in to their lansingburgh.org account to fill out the application. 

Important Information Before Applying:

  • Must be planning to attend a two or four-year school after graduation
  • Preference will be given to those planning to enter the teaching profession
  • Essay and recommendation letters must be submitted for consideration (more details in the application) 
  • Scholarship, character and academic achievement are taken into consideration
  • Must maintain at least a 3.2 GPA each semester in school to remain eligible. After each semester, a transcript must be submitted to get the remainder of the scholarship payments.
