5th Grade families are invited to attend the Rensselaer Park 5th Grade Moving-Up Ceremonies on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. There will be two sessions in the Knickerbacker Middle School Auditorium. Please see below for your student's homeroom teacher and the time of their ceremony. Students absent on June 25 will not be able to participate.
Students are asked to report to the KMS Auditorium 15 minutes before their ceremony and to dress appropriately (see below). Students and families may enter the Knickerbacker Middle School using the entrance by the bus loop. Students will be sitting with their class in designated spots and will need to find their teacher for their seats.
Moving-Up Ceremony Times
1:00 PM
- Homeroom Teachers: Gregoire, Gunsel, Petralia, Baril and Brady
2:15 PM
- Homeroom Teachers: Barber, Johnson, Roman, Tergliafera and White
Students Should Wear
Boys: dress pants or shorts, shoes, and a nice shirt with no writing or images (ex. button-up or polo)
Girls: dress, skirt, nice shoes, and/or pants with a nice shirt with no writing or images. Please no high heels, spaghetti straps or strapless tops.
