5th-grade families are invited to attend Rensselaer Park Elementary School's 5th Grade Moving-Up Ceremonies on Thursday, June 25, 2026. There will be two separate ceremonies in the Knickerbacker Middle School Auditorium (320 7th Ave).
5th-grade students absent on June 25 will not be able to participate.
Ceremony Times
Students must report to the KMS Auditorium 15 minutes before their scheduled start time. Families and students should enter the building using the entrance located by the school bus loop. Upon arrival, students will sit with their respective classes and must locate their homeroom teacher to find their assigned seats.
1:00 PM
- For Students With These Teachers: Johnson, Lott, Roman, Washock and White
- Students Should Arrive: 12:45 PM
2:15 PM
- For Students With These Teachers: Barber, Gregoire, Gunsel, Baril and Micallef
- Students Should Arrive: 2:00 PM
Student Dress Code
Boys
Dress pants/shorts, shoes and a nice shirt with no writing or images on it (ex. button-up or polo)
Girls
Dress, skirt, nice shoes, and/or pants with a nice shirt with no writing or images. Please do not wear high heels, spaghetti straps or strapless tops.
