Residents of the Lansingburgh Central School District have approved a $70,514,545 proposed budget for the 2026–27 school year by a vote of 367 (YES) to 91 (NO).
This budget represents a $3,908,093 spending increase from the 2025–26 school year and a 0% tax levy increase.
Residents also approved a proposed $4,050,000 capital improvement project by a vote of 354 (YES) to 99 (NO). This proposed project has three primary components, focused on improving health & safety and facilities:
- Knickerbacker Middle School: Building a Secure Main Entrance Vestibule and Renovating the Main Office
- Lansingburgh High School: Building a Secure Main Entrance Vestibule and Renovating the Main Office
- Athletics Facilities: Football Field Replacement and Surrounding Renovations
Finally, residents also elected Theadora Hines, Andrea Fairhurst and Jillian Manupella to three seats on the Lansingburgh Board of Education. Andrea Fairhurst and Jillian Manupella were each elected for full 5-year terms (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2031) and Theadora Hines was elected for a 1-year term (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027).
