Residents of the Lansingburgh Central School District have approved a $66,606,450 proposed budget for the 2025-26 School Year by a vote of 362 (YES) to 123 (NO).

This budget represents a $1,864,896 spending increase from the 2024-25 School Year. The estimated tax levy increase for the 2025-26 Budget is 0.50%, which is below the allowable tax levy limit of 0.53% set by New York State.

Residents also elected Michael Drinkwine, Michael Cusack and Daniella Richards to three seats on the Lansingburgh Board of Education. Michael Drinkwine and Michael Cusack were each elected for full 5-year terms (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2030) and Daniella Richards was elected for a 2-year term (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2027), which is the time remaining in the term of a currently vacant seat on the Board.

The district thanks all the residents who participated in this year’s Budget Vote and Board of Education Election!
