2021 Board of Education Election & School Budget Vote

The Lansingburgh Central School District 2021 Board Member Election & Annual School Budget Vote will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, between the hours of 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The vote will be held in-person.

There will be a Meet the Candidates for the Board of Education session on May 10 at 6:00 PM in Knickerbacker Middle School (320 7th Ave, Troy, NY). This will be immediately followed by the Annual Budget Hearing at 6:30 PM.   

Board Nomination Petitions 

There are two seats available on the Board of Education, each with a five (5) year term commencing on July 1, 2021, and expiring on June 30, 2026.  Petitions nominating candidates for the office of a member of the Board of Education are obtainable from the District Clerk in the District Office (55 New Turnpike Road, Troy, NY) between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.  Vacancies on the Board of Education are not considered separate, specific offices; candidates run at large.  Petitions must be signed by at least twenty-five (25) qualified voters of the District; must state the name and residence of each signer; and must state the name and residence of the candidate.

Petitions must be filed with the District Clerk in the District Office no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 19, 2021.
