How to Sign Up for Lansingburgh Text Message Alerts

Lansingburgh has free* voluntary opt-in text message alerts as part of its SchoolMessenger alerts.

This allows an additional method for informing parents/guardians about school closures, delays, early dismissals, safety alerts and more.

Who Can Opt-In for Lansingburgh Text Messages

Since this is a voluntary service you must opt-in before receiving Lansingburgh text messages and meet the following requirements: 

  1. The cell phone number you would like to receive text alerts must be on file with the district as a primary contact number to receive texts
  2. You must also be a parent/guardian of a current student in the Lansingburgh Central School District.

How to Opt-In for Lansingburgh Text Messages**

To opt-in for Lansingburgh text alerts for your cell phone, send a text message containing the letter “Y” or the word “Yes” to Lansingburgh's unique code number: 67587.

If you no longer wish to receive text alerts after opting in, opt-out by replying "Stop" to any received messages.
