Opt-In for District Text Alerts Now, Alerts In Effect on Feb. 3

1/10/2020 - This is a notice that Lansingburgh is adding a free* voluntary opt-in text messaging service to its existing SchoolMessenger alert services. This allows an additional method for informing parents/guardians about school closures, delays, early dismissals, safety alerts and more.

The SchoolMessenger free text messaging service goes into effect on February 3, 2020.

Opting In for Lansingburgh Text Messages**

Since this is a voluntary service you must opt-in before receiving Lansingburgh text messages. Even if the district already has your current cell phone number, you must consent to receive them by doing the following:

Starting now, you can opt-in for the text messaging service by sending “Y” or “Yes” to Lansingburgh's unique code number: 67587.

If you no longer wish to receive text alerts after opting in, opt-out by replying "Stop" to any received messages.

Text alerts go into effect on February 3, but you can continue opting in or out of them after that date.
