During the months of February and March, Mrs. Kilmer's 6th Grade ELA classes completed research projects about social issues. Students worked hard choosing a topic, researching it, and writing multiple pages about it. At the end of this, students were given a choice to enter their work into a Golden Pencil Competition where their peers voted on which research projects conveyed information the most interestingly and creatively.

The top 3 recipients were awarded a golden pencil pin and a knight's shield. The winners were Kah'Maree Ford, Carson Garrison & Sage Sumner! Congratulations to them!
