Knickerbacker Middle School's Red Team wrapped up their Ecology unit by watching The Lorax and then discussing deforestation and the other ways humans harm the environment.

They then worked in groups to build their own dioramas of The Lorax's habitat (aka Truffula Forest). Their dioramas had to include both living (biotic) and nonliving (abiotic) features. They also needed to make sure they included food, shelter and water for the inhabitants of the Truffula Forest. It was a great time and the students came up with very creative final projects as you can see in the pictures below!
