Superintendent Memo (May 12): Isolation/Quarantine Reminder & Tests for Memorial Weekend

May 12, 2022

The following message from Lansingburgh Superintendent, Dr. Abitabile, was sent to all Lansingburgh families on Thursday, May 12.

All school reopening news and COVID-19 updates can be found on the district’s 2021-2022 Reopening Updates page here.

Good afternoon Lansingburgh School Community,

As we are seeing a recent increase in the number of students and staff contracting the COVID-19 virus, we are attaching a reminder of our current guidance on isolation and quarantines. These guidelines have NOT changed since we came back from the holiday break in January.

Also, we are also planning another round of COVID-19 test kit distribution to be conducted at some point before Memorial Day. Click here for a one-question survey letting us know if you would like a test kit sent home with your child (you will need to sign into ParentSquare to fill out the survey).  Each building will communicate with families on what date you can expect to receive them.

Respectfully,
Antonio W. Abitabile
LCSD Superintendent
