Local Summer Meals/Food Access for Students
Summer is here it can be a time of uncertainty with families not having the safety net of school meals.
Below are some ways to access food over the summer, should Lansingburgh families need it.
In addition to the pantries and programs listed below, The Boys & Girls Club of the Capital Area will continue providing meals at the following housing locations during the summer:
- Troy Locations: Griswold Heights, Corliss Park, Arnold E. Fallon, Martin Luther King, Margaret W. Phalon, Catherine Sweeney, & John P. Taylor.
- Albany Locations: Ezra Prentice, Creighton Storey, Robert E. Whalen, & North Albany Homes

They will connect you with a case manager through the Unity House who will help you with any resources/ necessities that you might need. Step 3: You will need transportation to get to the Unity House/ and pick up materials requested. You will need to wait outside and a worker will bring out the resources for you to bring home.|

|Salvation Army Troy 410 River Street Troy, NY 12180||Tues - Thurs 10:00 am - 2:00 pm||Will deliver to the disabled on Tues/Wed (mental illness counts as a disability). They do not require proof, but you will need to tell them in order to receive the delivery.|
