Voters Approve 2020-2021 Budget, Re-elect/Elect BOE Members

June 16, 2020

We're happy to announce that residents of the Lansingburgh Central School District have approved a $52,795,298 budget for the 2020-2021 school year by a vote of 1,237 (yes) to 729 (no).

Due to public health concerns as a result of COVID-19, Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order No. 202.26. modified the rules under which school districts could conduct annual school board elections and budget votes. Qualified voters could vote by absentee ballot only and the district mailed absentee ballots to all qualified voters with postage-paid return envelopes.

Residents also re-elected Michael Cusack and elected Daniella Richards to the Board of Education for a 5-year term (July 1, 2020-June 30, 2025).

We thank all the residents who participated in this year’s budget vote and board election by returning their absentee ballots.
