1/8/2020 - A robocall went out earlier this morning informing all parents/guardians that Lansingburgh now has a 3-Hour Delay option.
As noted in the December 18 letter home from Superintendent Abitabile, it's early in the winter and the district has used three of five planned emergency closing days. If needed, the 3-hour delay provides an extra option in the district's efforts not to exceed the planned number of emergency closing days.
A reminder that if more than five emergency closing days are used, those extra school days must be made up elsewhere in the remaining months of the academic year. The plan for making up these days was also included in the December 18 letter.
If a 3-hour delay is called, all students will still have a regular length lunchtime.
