In case you missed it over the summer, Rensselaer Park Elementary was the New York State PTA’s state winner of their Pick a Reading Partner (PARP) Award! This means that out of all the state regional PARP program winners, RPES was chosen as the most outstanding of them all!  

RPES and district faculty/staff recently attended both the New York State PTA’s Banquet and the Northeastern Region PTA Banquet, where they were honored for the RPES 2021-2022 School Year PARP Program: RPES’s Adirondack Reading Adventure.

This marked the 3rd time in 4 years (!!!) RPES won the award for its take on the PARP program, which is a statewide NYS PTA initiative promoting literacy and daily reading among young students.
