On April 7, Rensselaer Park Elementary held its annual literacy night event to wrap up this year's edition of the Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) program. The theme for this year's literacy night was "A Knight in the Adirondacks" to go along with the PARP theme.

Over 100 students and their families attended A Knight in the Adirondacks! They participated in activities like Wordle, ice fishing, ax throwing (fake, of course), rock climbing, guiding Sphero robots through a student-created trail map and making crafts.

It was great to see a literacy night event return to RPES after being put on hiatus for the last couple of years due to the pandemic.
