Before and After-School Care
Lansingburgh Central School District partners with the Capital District YMCA to offer free after-school care for the district's students in kindergarten–grade 5 thanks to grant funding from the Learning and Enrichment After-School Program Supports (LEAPS), a New York State Office of Children and Family Services program. The district has been awarded $3.5 million from LEAPS, which is enough to continue offering free elementary after-school programs in Lansingburgh through the 2028-29 school year.
After-school programs are located on-site at the elementary school your student attends. Students are dismissed directly to their after-school program when their school day ends. Please note that before-school care is not free and there will be a charge to enroll your student.
