2026–27 Budget Vote
On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, residents of the Lansingburgh Central School District will vote on whether to approve a proposed budget for the 2026–27 school year. In-person voting will be done using voting machines at voters' designated polling locations from 11:00 AM–8:00 PM.
Capital Improvement Project Vote & Board of Education Election
Also on May 19, residents will vote on whether to approve a proposed capital improvement project and elect three (3) members of the Lansingburgh Board of Education.

2026–27 Proposed Budget Statement
The 2026–27 Proposed Budget Statement will be available online here once it is finished, and hard copies will be available upon request at the District Office (55 New Turnpike Rd) from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (Monday–Friday) starting on May 5, 2026.
2026–27 Budget Hearing & Meet the Board Candidates
The 2026–27 Annual Budget Hearing will take place at Turnpike Elementary School (55 New Turnpike Rd) on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Community members are welcome to attend a presentation about the Proposed 2026–27 School Year Budget and learn more about the candidates running for Lansingburgh's Board of Education.
Voting for the Budget & Board Election
Where To Vote
In-person voting will be done at the following polling locations on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM–8:00 PM. If you are unsure of your polling location, use the Polling Place Finder here.
Polling Locations
Voting District 1: Lansingburgh High School Gym (320 7th Ave.)
- The voting location for those living north of 101st St to the south of 118th St.
Voting District 2: Turnpike Elementary School Gym (55 New Turnpike Rd.)
- The voting location for those living north of 118th St to the end of Pleasantdale; Northern Drive; Corliss Park; Miami Beach Estates; Highpointe; all of Brunswick 7; and all of Speigletown.
Who Can Vote
You must be an eligible voter and registered to vote. If you are unsure of your voter registration status, check it using the Am I Registered link here.
You are an eligible voter if you are:
- A legal US resident;
- 18 years old by May 19, 2026; and
- Living within the Lansingburgh Central School District boundaries for at least 30 days before May 19, 2026.
Registration for New Voters
Anyone not already registered to vote may register at the District Office (55 New Turnpike Rd) on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 12:00–6:00 PM.
Early Voting
Applications for early mail ballots can be picked up from the District Clerk at the District Office (55 New Turnpike Road). Any qualified voter may request an early mail ballot application. The District Clerk cannot accept completed applications before April 20, 2026.
Applicants requesting a ballot be mailed to them must return completed applications to the District Clerk no later than May 12, 2026. If the ballot will be picked up in person, completed applications must be returned to the District Clerk no later than the day before the election (May 18). Early voting ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5:00 PM, prevailing time, on May 18, 2026.
Absentee Ballots
Applications for absentee ballots can be picked up from the District Clerk at the District Office (55 New Turnpike Road). Completed applications must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the election if the ballot will be mailed to the voter, or the day before the election (May 18) if the ballot will be given to the voter in person. Absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5:00 PM, prevailing time, on May 19, 2026.
Military Ballots
Military voters who are qualified voters of Lansingburgh Central School District may apply for a military ballot by requesting an application from the District Clerk by phone (518-233-6850 Ext. 33400) or email (cwilliams@lansingburgh.org).
For a military voter to receive a military ballot, the District Clerk must receive a valid ballot application no later than 5:00 PM on April 21, 2026. In a request for a military ballot application or ballot, the military voter may indicate their preference for receiving the application or ballot by mail, fax or email.
