2020-2021 Budget
Effect of New York State Aid Cuts on the 2020-2021 Budget
Please note that the district's voter-approved budget from June 2020 has been impacted by the recent 20% cut in New York State aid to all school districts. Because of this, there is a loss of roughly $6.5 million in the district's originally planned Revenue amount in the 2020-2021 school year budget documents on this page.
That loss of incoming revenue impacts the Expenditures (how we spend the money) portion of the budget documents on this page. The district is still finalizing how it will spend the remaining money in the budget that will be the most beneficial for the students given the current circumstances. Because this is process is still ongoing, there are not yet hard copy documents on this page reflecting the updated 2020-2021 revenue or expenditures.
