Lansingburgh's 21st Century After School Program

  • What is the 21st Century Program?

The 21st Century Programs at Lansingburgh Central School District are a part of the New York State Education Department and the United States Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC) grant. 21CCLCs help students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.

What programs does Lansingburgh Central School District offer?

    • Snack and transportation are provided

    • Programming for students in grades 9-12

The goal is to provide academic enrichment through learning in our number of “clubs” offered to the students. Clubs change several times throughout the year, but they focus on arts and crafts, culinary arts, music, recreation, science, technology, engineering, project-based learning, and youth development opportunities.

Students need to be enrolled in the program in order to attend the 21st Century After School Program in the middle and high school.
