Summer Reading Event
On Saturday, June 5th the Lansingburgh Branch of the Troy Public Library in partnership with WMHT and PBS hosted a Summer Reading Fun event. Students from Turnpike and Rensselaer Park Elementary Schools attended to participate in games, crafts, and educational activities and to meet Clifford the Big Red Dog. New York State Senator Roy McDonald and Rensselaer County Executive Kathy Jimino were also in attendance.
The day before the event, Clifford made a guest appearance at both Turnpike and Rensselaer Park to encourage summer reading.
