The Burgh-Bots Have Team Spirit

The Burgh-Bots, consisting of students from Knickerbacker Middle School, came in first place for Team Spirit at the 2008 FIRST LEGO League Tech Valley Challenge. The competition took place on Saturday, December 6th at RPI. Intel donated $30,000 to sponsor the event and also set aside money to provide scholarships to several teams to off set the cost to compete. Out of the field of 24 teams from across Tech Valley, the Burgh-Bots won for most Team Spirit and took home a trophy, which is made entirely of legos.

The robotics team was also highlighted in Thursday, December 4th's issue of the Troy Record. For more information, view the article on the Troy Record's website.
