The school district is deeply saddened by the loss of Mrs. Nancy McHugh, President of the Lansingburgh Central School District Board of Education, who passed away on February 2, 2009.
Mrs. McHugh exemplified a life of service to the community and advocacy for our schools, which she loved so dearly. In her 18 years as a member of the Board of Education, and as its President for the past two years, she inspired so many and led the District admirably. She will be deeply missed. Her legacy will live forever as will the many ways in which she made our schools and community better.
