Concert of the school year. This is the fourth concert of its kind to be conducted in the Lansingburgh Central School District. On Tuesday, October 7, 2008, Knickerbacker Middle School and Lansingburgh High School hosted the first Prism Concert of the school year. This is the fourth concert of its kind to be conducted in the Lansingburgh Central School District.
The idea of the Prism Concert is to incorporate all the arts together into one non-stop event. Ideally, the music and art should blend together with no break between songs.
Art teachers, Mr. Bergman and Mrs. Clermont coordinated displays of their students work. Music teachers, Ms. Downs and Mr. Champagne conducted while each band and several smaller ensembles performed. Because there is no break in the action the Prism concerts usually run between 30 and 45 minutes.
Congratulations to all of the students that either performed or displayed art for a creative job well done.
