In honor of School Board Recognition Week, a reception was held at the board meeting on October 28, 2008. Refreshments provided by the Lansingburgh/Knickerbacker PTSA were enjoyed by all in attendance. Superintendent George Goodwin recognized each member of the Board of Education with a plaque awarded for their dedication, leadership, and investment of time, energy and expertise.
As the governing body of the school district as well as representatives of the community, those who serve on the Board of Education have a keen awareness of the challenges of our schools and set goals and priorities accordingly. The entire Lansingburgh Central School District community thanks the Board of Education for their commitment and contributions to our schools.
