Lansingburgh High School student college scholarship award winners were announced recently. The awards given and their winners include:
The Wells College 21st Century Leadership Award recognizes the following student for their outstanding contributions as a student and a leader. Through school and community activities and service, this individual has demonstrated superior integrity, trustworthiness, self-confidence and intellect. She has been selected by Wells College, which identifies exceptional young leaders nationally and will be awarded a $20,000 Scholarship for Leaders for four years of study at Wells College. The Rensselaer Medal recognizes the following student who has distinguished them self in mathematics and science. The purpose of the Rensselaer Medal is to recognize exceptional academic achievement and motivate students towards a career in science, engineering, and technology. The Medal winner is awarded a $15,000 per year merit scholarship which is guaranteed for four years of study at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
