On Wednesday, June 9th students from the Lansingburgh High School Class of 2010 were honored at an awards ceremony captivating the many accomplishments throughout their High School career.

A special congratulations to the recipients of the Karolyn A. Lonczak Memorial Scholarship and the Nancy McHugh Scholarship who are listed below:
The Karolyn A. Lonczak Memorial Scholarship is given to a student who is a living tribute to Karolyn and to her dream. The scholarship provides financial support to a graduate so that he or she may realize his or her own dream. The 2010 recipient of this award, Ashley Carter, will receive $5,000 to support her as she attends Delaware State University pursuing a degree in Psychology. Congratulations Ashley.
The Nancy McHugh Memorial Scholarship was given this year to students Kathryn Lance who will be attending Russell Sage College majoring in Elementary Education and to Andrew Higgs who will attend Elmira College for English. Both students were awarded a $1,500 scholarship.
