The Lansingburgh High School Soundwaves, a show choir, participated in a Music in the Parks Festival in Massachusetts on May 8th, 2010. The group performed in front of two judges and received a rating of “Superior”. Congratulations to senior Mark Bopp, who was awarded “Best Vocal Soloist “.
After the competition, the Soundwaves went to New England Six Flags and had a great time. Our thanks goes out to the the Lansingburgh Vet’s Club, which was one of biggest supporters, and made this trip possible.
The Soundwaves have two more performances this year, one of which is at Crossgates Mall on Tuesday, May 25 at 5:30pm in front of the entrance to the old Macy's. The public is welcome. Members of the Soundwaves are listed below:
