Students, ever wonder what your teachers do when you're not in school? On conference days, your teachers become students just like you!
On Thursday, June 4th and Friday, June 5th teachers from both Rensselaer Park and Turnpike Elementary Schools convened in Rensselaer Park's gymnasium for a two-day workshop. This intensive workshop session provided teachers with strategies to implement their new reading program "Book Shop" by Mondo Publishing Company. This K-5 reading program will be implemented at the start of the 2009-2010 school year.
