Dear Parents, Students and Staff Members,
We are pleased to have been chosen as the food service provider for the Lansingburgh Central School District.

We don’t expect that you will see any substantial changes in the food service program next year. Kevin Darrigo, your Food Service Director and his staff will be returning in September, and while their uniforms will have a new look, the great service you are accustomed to receiving will continue when school reopens in the fall.

Prestige Services, Inc. is a locally owned company located in Clifton Park, and we currently operate school food service programs in a number of locations in upstate New York. In addition to school food service, Prestige operates cafeterias in a number of Capital District business accounts, elderly nutrition programs in seven counties in New York State, and has an extensive vending division. Our diversity enables us to provide a wide range of services to our customers, and our focus is always on providing the highest possible quality food and service.

A few important details about the breakfast and lunch program are outlined below for your reference:

You may qualify for free or reduced price (student pays only 25 cents) breakfast and lunch daily. The 2009-10 applications will be available in the summer, please contact the school office to obtain one. If your child was free or reduced last year, you must submit a new application for this school year.
If you have not submitted an application, or are not approved for free or reduced price breakfast and lunch, the selling price to students is $0.75 for elementary breakfast / $0.85 for secondary breakfast, and $1.25 for elementary lunch / $1.50 for secondary lunch, which can be sent in daily with your child, or prepaid with cash or by check. If you pay for meals by check, please make all checks payable to the Lansingburgh Central School District.
If your child has prepayments left at the end of this school year, those will be applied to the 2009-10 school year.
If your child has a food allergy and requires a substitute food, or if he or she cannot eat certain food products, please notify our Food Service Director as soon as possible.
