Lansingburgh Central School District

The Lansingburgh Foundation works to enhance educational opportunities for Lansingburgh Central School District students K-12 through scholarship and grant programs. The foundation raises funds for Lansingburgh students to participate in nonschool, educational enrichment seminars and programs that are otherwise unavailable to Lansingburgh students.

In addition, the foundation strives to foster community among Lansingburgh residents and works to strengthen the bond between the district and community.

2010 Annual Dinner

The Lansingburgh Foundation honors alumni and community members at its annual dinner. The dinner includes induction into the Lansingburgh Foundation’s Hall of Fame of any individual who made outstanding contributions to the foundation and who demonstrated commitment to Lansingburgh Central School District students.

The Lansingburgh Hall of Fame is stationed on the bridge connecting Lansingburgh High School with Knickerbacker Middle School. All honorees have their names added to the Lansingburgh Hall of Fame.

This year's 2010 Hall of Fame Inductees will be:

The Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place on October 28th at the Veterans of Lansingburgh. The event will begin at 6:00 pm for a cocktail hour followed by a 7:00 pm dinner and awards ceremony at 8:00. The cost of the event is $25.00 per person. Music will be provided by LHS Jazz Band and LHS Soundwaves. For questions please contact Barbara Ashe at 237-8700, any board member, or call the district office for any other information. Invitations will be mailed out the second week of September.

To support this year's scholarship fund, it is necessary that we procure ads for our evening's program. All proceeds from these ads go directly to our scholarship recipients. If you would like to take an ad out personally, or for a business, a price list is as follows:

• Quarter page $25.00
• Half page $50.00
• Full page $100.00
